How the Analyst Works
HTFHigher Timeframe Bias — The analyst fetches the last 100 candles of the immediately higher timeframe (e.g. if you're on 15M, it reads 1H candles). HTF Trend Structure, RSI, EMA stack, and Volume are used as the primary bias. Current candle only confirms breakouts.
●Pattern — Reads the last 3 candles for formations: Doji, Hammer, Engulfing, Marubozu, Shooting Star, Inside Bar and more. Each pattern carries a bullish or bearish bias score.
●LT/HB — Detects swing-based market structure. Lower Tops (LT) = declining swing highs → bearish. Higher Bottoms (HB) = rising swing lows → bullish. A price breakout above LT or below HB adds strong weight.
●Trend — Linear regression slope over last 10 candles, combined with Higher High / Lower Low check over last 5 candles.
●RSI 14 — Relative Strength Index. <30 = oversold (buy zone); >70 = overbought (sell zone). Between 30–70 = neutral. Extremes get higher weight.
●EMA 9/21 — When EMA 9 crosses above EMA 21, it signals short-term bullish momentum and vice versa.
●Volume — Compared to the 20-period average. High volume on a bullish candle strengthens the BUY signal; high volume on a bearish candle strengthens SELL.
How LT / HB are Calculated
LTA Lower Top forms when a recent swing high is lower than the prior swing high. A swing high is a candle whose high is higher than the 2 candles on either side. Two consecutive declining swing highs = LT structure (bearish). Price closing above the latest LT = bullish breakout.
HBA Higher Bottom forms when a recent swing low is higher than the prior swing low. Two consecutive rising swing lows = HB structure (bullish). Price closing below the latest HB = bearish breakdown.
Timeframe Suitability Guide
1MScalpers only — extremely noisy, signal fades within seconds. High transaction cost drag.
5MActive scalpers — better than 1M, still requires fast execution. Suitable for high-liquidity stocks.
15MIntraday day traders — good signal-to-noise ratio. Best for same-day entries and exits.
1HIntraday swing — clean signals, reliable momentum plays. Best for morning breakout or afternoon continuation trades.
4HShort-term swing traders — reliable structure, good for 2–5 day trades with wider stops.
1DSwing traders — least noisy for multi-day setups. Best for 1–3 week positional trades.
1WPositional / investors — long-term trend only. Ignore short-term signals. Noiseless but slow to react.
⚠ Always confirm signals with volume and price action. No indicator is a guarantee — use stops.
